Buyukada is the largest and the most famous of the Princes' Islands.If you are fit enough you can walk up the hills of the island to see the Aya Yorgi Church and Monastery from 6th century, Ayios Dimitrios Church, Hristos Church and Monastery, and Hamidiye Mosque built by sultan Abdulhamit II.
Great day trip by ferry to a carless island that takes you back 100 years.
