this Montreal institution has the best smoked meat anywhere. Amazingly, Montreal has better deli and bagels than you'll find anywhere in NYC. Don't be scared off by the line, it moves quick. Snag a smoked meat sandwich up until 1 on weekends, and take it to Copa's (chill bar) across the way. Oh, and legend has it they spit in your sandwich if you order it lean.
