Bigger is better?
Ambergris Caye is bigger, more expensive and more developed than any of the other Cayes. Don't let that throw you off though - it's relaxed vibe will surely rub off on you, and it does have a range of food and accommodation to fit every budget and need. There are some beautiful upscale resorts scattered throughout the island, making this a perfect destination for honeymooners and anyone looking for a luxurious retreat.

Air
Tropic Air, T226-2012, and Maya Island Air, T226-2435, have flights to/from both Belize City airports, many hourly, to Caye Caulker and Corozal. Charter services are available.
Bicycle and golf cart
Bicycles US$2.50 per hr, negotiate for long-term rates. Golf carts from US$15 per hr and up to US$300 per week, battery or gas powered, driver’s licence needed.
Boat
More interesting than going by air are the boats. All these call at Caye Caulker (Caye Chapel and St George’s Caye on request). Caye Caulker Water Taxi Association to Caye Caulker and Belize City at 0700 (express to Belize City), 0800, 0930, 1130, 1300, 1430, 1530, 1630 (Belize City on weekends and holidays only). With Triple J at 0800, 1030, 1200, 1330, 1500 and 1630. Many regular boats between Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker.
There are boats to Corozal leaving from the lagoon side with Thunderbolt, T422-0026, thunderbolttravels@yahoo.com at 0700 and 1500, returning at 0700 and 1500, US$22.50 1 way. The Island Ferry, T226-3251, from Fido’s dock, services the north of the island every 2 hrs from 0700-1700 then hourly 1800-2200. Also at 2400 and 0200 on Wed, Fri and Sat. Returns 0600-2200 every 2 hrs, US$10-25.Banks
