Berlin's top place for urban cowboys
No weekend in Berlin should go by without a visit to White Trash. Because of complaints from neighbors from the no man's land of Torstrasse, it moved into a former Irish pub in Schönhauser Allee a few blocks away; the hallucination-turned-reality of an L.A. native in Berlin (you can tell him apart from the other freaks in the bar by his cowboy hat) still defies classification. With White Trash, you enter a three-story, nested mutation of Chinese restaurant, Irish pub, burger restaurant, and western saloon, enriched by all manner of bizarre plastic junk and posters.
