Situated on a sunny mountain outcrop on the Upper Nagold River, this picturesque little town of half-timbered houses attracts guests as a climatic health resort. Its most precious half-timbered building is the Old Castle, which developed from a castle from the Staufer period. Its five-storey living quarters are a museum today.
