Pirna travel guide

Pirna's townscape is dominated by Renaissance and baroque architecture. In the centre of the town is the market square, which is surrounded by delightful townhouses and has the town hall at its centre. The church of Sankt Marien dating from 1502 rises up behind the market. The 10 m high sandstone altar inside the church is well worth seeing.
