The most attractive place in the pokey medieval Old Town is the 1325 Krämer Bridge, the longest bridge street with buildings on it in Europe. But Erfurt is at its most impressive on Domberg: the flight of 70 steps leads up to Severi Church and to the cathedral with its splendid glass windows.
