Sankt Margrethen is where the Rhine flows into Lake Constance and therefore leaves its country of origin, which accounts for around 375 km of its total length. The town is famous for its traditional mineral and Kneipp baths, but in the "Rheinpark" it also boasts the biggest shopping centre in the region.
