Bubendorf was the homiest foreign town I have ever been to. The atmosphere is, to me, laid back and friendly. It's so green and hilly there. The countryside/views are simplistic but beautiful. It's just so green. I wasn't used to it at first. There's villages set into the pockets of hills and built up along the side of hills, its amazing looking. If you prefer the city, Bubendorf probably isnt for you but I'm sure one would appreciate the homey atmosphere. It would be a nice reprieve from the bussiness. I honestly felt instantly at home there. And for someone who doesnt speak swiss german, that's harder to gain.
