Picturesque, medieval Rapperswil is at the north end of the dam between Lake Zurich and Lake Ober. Today Rapperswil is known as the Town of Roses, because from May and October, thousands of roses bloom at the Capuchin monastery and on the Schanz. By the harbour, one can find the Knie Circus Museum.
