This pretty little Old Town is split into Burgplatz and Ring. The latter is an atmospheric square which is surrounded by summerhouses and on which the late-Gothic Church of Sankt Benedikt features windows and paintings from when the church was built. The Biel "Museum Mile" runs towards the lake.
