Being the largest and greenest borough of Leuven it are primarily its parks, gardens and forests, such as the Park Abbey (Abdij van 't Park) and the Arenberg Castle, that draw the attention of locals and tourists alike. The more adventurous people take their mountain bike and go for a ride through Heverlee Woods (Heverleebos).
Heverlee is also a home for Leuven's jocks as it houses the university sports complex, and its nerds on the science campus.
