Brussels-Luxembourg Station

Serving the European District

The station opened in 1854 and was built by the Grande Compagnie du Luxembourg, which constructed the whole railway Brussels-Namur-Luxemburg, hence the name of the station. With the building of the European Parliament and the renewal of the site, the station itself was redesigned and put underground. The protected facade was saved and became part of the Espace Léopold.
It connects Brussels with Louvain-la-Neuve, Namur and Luxemburg. There’s an international train to Switzerland.
