    De Panne is a great place to stay so you can visit the belgian and northern french coast. Places like Ypres, Bruges, Ostend, Cap Gris Nez, Calais,... are all about an hours drive from De Panne. There's a nice hotel at the beachfront http://www.hotelvillaselect.be
