Brussels' westernmost municipality is the only one with a real rural area, Neerpede, the part of Anderlecht west of the ring road. This offers a unique experience within the Brussels Metropolitan Region: biking country lanes. The city animals among use stay within the urban part where they can discover the Brussels’ Geuze Museum about the typical Brussels beer, the canons’ house and the beguinage of Anderlecht where Erasmus stayed several months, the Collegial Church of Saint Peter and Saint Guido, and soccer freaks go for the Vanden Stock Stadium.
