The Late-Gothic town hall flanked by beautiful gabled houses stands on the Grand-Place with its numerous cafés. On the left next to the main portal, there is a wrought-iron monkey which is said to bring luck whenever it is touched. The numerous museums are another impressive feature in Mons.
