Namur is worth a visit, particularly because of its citadel and museums. The headland at the mouth of the Sambre is a good starting point for a walk through the old town. The Archaeological Museum is also situated here. The nunnery of the Sisters of Notre-Dame can be reached via the Place d'Armes.
