Notre-Dame Basilica

A 5 dollar religious experience not just for believers. Acknowledged as a minor basilica in 1982 by the Roman Catholic Church due to its historical significance, this sacred structure was, at the time of its creation, the largest house of worship in all of North America. Now the pride of Montreal, the basilica has been host to everything from Celine Dion’s wedding to world famous orchestras, as well as to the hundreds of thousands of tourists and worshipers that come to take in its majesty each year.
