The people of Salzburg see Gaisberg as one of their mountains. It is 1228 m high. The climb is rewarded with a view to Dachstein and Chiemsee on a clear day.
Beautiful mountain in the immediate vicinity of the city of Salzburg. As a destination for short hikes in winter ideal. The Gaisberg trail (approx. 1.5 hours) is highly recommended because of the spectacular views over the city.
