The very best of baroque architecture in Prince Eugen's two summer palaces. This includes Klimt, Schiele and co. in the Austrian gallery.
A must for any visitor is Prince Eugene's former summer palace. Made up of two palaces, it is not only Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt's masterpiece, but also one of the most magnificent Baroque creations in the world.

There's a lot to see across the different parts of the Belvedere Palace - the main gallery is in the Upper Belvedere and I highly recommend to get the audio guide, it's 3€ but you get so much more out of all the paintings and learn about the history of Belvedere and Prince Eugene as well. The lower Belvedere and the Orangerie (the former stables) features different, changing exhibitions.
