The former summer castle of Prince Eugen is a must for every visitor. The extensive site, consisting of two palaces, is regarded as one of the grandest creations of Baroque architecture.

There's a lot to see across the different parts of the Belvedere Palace - the main gallery is in the Upper Belvedere and I highly recommend to get the audio guide, it's 3€ but you get so much more out of all the paintings and learn about the history of Belvedere and Prince Eugene as well. The lower Belvedere and the Orangerie (the former stables) features different, changing exhibitions.
