Take a bike, cab or tram on Vienna's magnificent boulevard all around the city centre.
This "Ringstraße" is 4.5 km long, 57 m wide including the two side avenues, and lined by numerous splendid private and public buildings. All imitate architectural styles of earlier epochs, from Greek-Roman classical antiquity to all sorts of stylistc combinations of historism.
