There's a panoramic view from the 22m viewing tower on the Kahlenberg, you can see as far as the Lesser Carpathians. The many wild swine give the hill its other name - Sauberg.

Awesome panorama of Vienna and its surroundings, especially nice at sunset.The viewing balcony is flanked by two cafés, the Kahlenberg suite hotel and the Modul tourism university. Interesting for all history-fans and Poles: the near-by chapel remembers the Polish general Jan Sobieski, who helped to defeat the Ottoman Vienna-invaders in 1683. Still a memorable date for a few Austrians, in Poland at least there is a Sobieski cigarettes-brand.
The great view has been spoiled through buildings in the past years, but it's still amazing!
