The town is wonderfully located between lake and Schmitten Mountain. One should see St. Hippolytus's Church, originally Romanesque, with lovely frescos, the 1000 year old tower on the Stadtplatz with its local history museum, and the Renaissance Rosenberg Castle, now housing the town hall.
