Kerch (Παντικάπαιον (Panticapaion),Керч, Керчь, Kerç, Kertsch, Old East Slavic: Кърчевъ) is a city (2001 pop 157,000) on the Kerch Peninsula of eastern Crimea, is an important industrial, transport and tourist centre of Ukraine.
