Barcelona's City Beach is right in the middle of the city. Within walking distance from the end of the Rambla, you can expect a wide sandy beach with palm trees and charming little restaurants.

The best part of Barcelona (after the restaurants, bars and cafes) is the beach. Even though it is man made, it attracts millions of tourists and locals each year. The nearest metro stop is Barceloneta on the yellow line.
Every 5 minutes someone comes by and asks you if you want a massage - so annoying
the color of the ocean is spectacular, being in the water is amazing on a hot day. just be sure to watch your things at all times
It is always a pleasure to be in Barcelona and in its beaches which are really wonderful!

I had great fun at City Beach - We played UNO and had some beer! Cooled cans are sold for 1€ ( the same are also sold in all nightlife-districts!)
