Tropical green island with cave temples
Contrast experience: From the hectic rush of Bombay to a tropically green island. If you would like to experience the half hour to one hour trip genuinely, should not use the Luxury Launch but a less touristy boat and take time to stroll across the island after the climb to the temples. The cave temples, probably built between 450 and 750, are a great attraction, especially the Mahesha Temple which is consecrated to Shiva.
