A few hotels and the Tourist Lodge are on MG Rd and a more salubrious cluster (all pretty similar) is found on Solicitor Rd (off AT Rd) near the ASTC bus station. Some old planter’s bungalows languish in the tea estates on the outskirts of town, far from the madding crowd.
