The main season for concerts, opera and ballet is Oct-Apr, but a number of festivals run continual shows throughout the summer . The Visitor Centre has a branch of Ticketmaster, T604-280 4444, www.ticket master.ca, through which tickets to most events are available, inlcuding sports; and Tickets Tonight, T604-280 4444, www.ticket stonight.ca, which has half-price same-day tickets for many events.
