Florence is at the top of the fashion trends. Walk the streets for a day and get a million ideas to bring back home. Gold sneakers, leather gloves, beautiful scarves...what ever the trend, you'll find in in Florence's shops. Plenty of designers have their stores near Piazza della Republica, (Guess, Louis Vuitton, YSL, etc) but there are also great markets where you can get souvenirs for cheap. Try near the Palazzo Medici. There is also a great flea market in Santo Spirito, Altrarno, either Saturday or Sunday mornings.
