Basel's old town is in Klein-Basel, separated from modern Groß-Basel by the Rhine. One of the six bridges leads to the Marktplatz with the splendid town hall.

This museum houses most of the original sculptures in Basel's cathedral. They are kept here to protect them from the elements. The cathedral is now fitted with copies.
