Slovakia is known for its hearty and unpretentious food. Especially the food is very cheap in Bratislava, and especially the restaurant food really worth. If possible, you should avoid on a trip to Bratislava on hotel food and go eat better, because the restaurant scene in the city offers original Slovak dishes at very reasonable prices. Eating and drinking is part of Bratislava together and then simply becomes a hearty pork often served a beer.
