Grove City is a borough in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, approximately 50 miles north of Pittsburgh. It is the home of Grove City College, a Christian liberal arts college founded in 1876. A traditional industrial center, Grove City has manufactured locomotive engines, carriages, and gas engines, foundry products, and motor trucks without much urban growth.
Grove City is in the midst of a revitalization to create a downtown district said to be conductive to economic development and improved quality of life for the entire community.
A Liquor Bill was passed in 2007 to terminate Grove City's claim of being a dry town.
