Cape Meares is a small headland on the Pacific coast of northwest Oregon in the United States. The cape forms a high steep bluff on the south end of Tillamook Bay, approximately 5 mi (8 km) northwest of the town of Tillamook. Much of the cape is part of Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint, which includes the Cape Meares Lighthouse. It is named after John Meares, a British explorer.
Immediately north of the cape is the small town of Cape Meares, next to Cape Meares Lake. The oceanfront adjacent to these is known as Cape Meares Beach; the beach further north, along the Bayocean Peninsula, is Bayocean Beach, or just Bayocean.
