East Greenbush is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Rensselaer County, New York, USA. The population was 4,085 at the 2000 census.
East Greenbush is mostly within the south part of the Town of East Greenbush, but a small section of the community extends southward into the Town of Schodack.
