Brewerton information

Brewerton is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located in the Town of Cicero in Onondaga County, New York at the west end of Oneida Lake at its outlet into the Oneida River. The population was 3,455 at the 2000 census. The southern tip of the Town of Hastings in Oswego County, New York (the area near where Fort Brewerton was located) is also identified by signage on US Route 11 and Oswego County Route 37 as Brewerton. Nineteenth century maps indicate that this area was once known as Fort Brewerton, while Brewerton meant the Cicero portion. (...) more....
