travel journals - 1 to 20

So I decided that this year instead of returning to Berlin, I'd revisit the region that made me fall in love with Germany: Bavaria, more specifically, Munich. I can smell the sausage and the Dampfnudeln now. I've been on a Mozart kick this year and I'm a BIG Sound of Music fan, so since Salzburg is so close I'll spend 3 days in the city that gave birth to Mozart. Still have to buy the train ticket from Munich to Salzburg and back, but Deutsche Bahn doesn't allow booking a ticket less than 93 days in advance: 1 1/2 weeks to that and counting.
