Im symbolischen Sinn ist die Pilgerfahrt sowohl eine Initiation als auch ein Akt der Ergebenheit. Eine Wallfahrt lat. peregrinatio religiosa, v. wallen in eine bestimmte Richtung ziehen, fahren unterwegs sein) ist eine traditionelle Reise, um ein heiliges Gebot zu erfüllen. Nun, für mich war es quasi ein Kraftakt der Ergebenheit. 30st of September. Still 16 more days till departure, and i am in the middle of my preparations. I have sold my car yesterday, I have written my last story today, I have said goodbye to all my colleagues from work. What is ahead of me? Packing, tidying up my flat, more packing, driving to Dornbirn, meeting the family there. That will be holidays already. Being home is always so cosy. I am not too sure, which theory applies more often: the self destroying, or the self fulfilling prophecy? When I decided to travel across Austria by train I was more than counting on the first.
